The Hanover Insurance Group Foundation Donates $20,000 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund

- Directs Funds to Support Victims of Hurricanes and Other Disasters in Texas -

HOUSTON, Dec. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Hanover Insurance Group Foundation, Inc., today announced that it has contributed $20,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and has directed the funds to help victims of hurricanes and other disasters throughout the state of Texas.

The grant is in line with The Hanover Insurance Group Foundation's long, proud tradition of helping to make the communities where the company does business stronger, safer and more vibrant. All American Red Cross disaster assistance is free, made possible by voluntary donations of time and money from the American people. You can help the victims of thousands of disasters across the country each year, disasters like the Hurricanes of 2008, by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to victims of disaster. The American Red Cross honors donor intent. If you wish to designate your donation to a specific disaster please do so at the time of your donation.
