"Writing complex school business is not for undergraduates," said David J. Firstenberg, commercial lines business president at The Hanover. "Our program offers both the specialized coverages and access to dynamic industry professionals knowledgeable of the business who can work closely with our agent partners need to properly insure their school clients."

The Hanover's agent partners have successfully offered Avenues Education Advantage to local schools since 2006 in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire and Tennessee.

Avenues Education Advantage is part of a growing list of industry-specific programs being offered by The Hanover, which also includes niche programs for businesses within the healthcare, hospitality, real estate, marina, moving and storage, jewelry and furrier markets.

The Hanover's niche programs complement an already strong commercial lines offering, giving agent partners unique access to a total solution that meets the broad coverage needs of businesses throughout the country.
