The Florida Knee and Orthopedic Centers are the Social Orthopedic Experts

Clearwater, FL (PRWEB) September 30, 2013

It seems that today’s society becomes more “social” every day. With a plethora of social networks and online resources, The Florida Knee and Orthopedic Centers (FKOC) decided to start educating their community (and beyond) on the importance of seeking treatment for orthopedic problems and tips to keep your joints healthy.

FKOC has accounts on over five of the largest social media networks, most recently adding Pinterest and Instagram to their social portfolio. They feel that it is important to inform the public on the importance of staying healthy as well as providing tips on how to recover from severe joint pain. Their goal is to create and share informative orthopedic tips in the form of images and posts that are easy to understand in the hopes to spread knowledge and awareness.

FKOC also has an actively updated orthopedic blog on their website with an open comments section to allow interaction between the orthopedic experts and their blog subscribers. The FKOC blog has touched on topics such as “Are There Any Orthopedic Patients That I Could Talk To?” and “Will I be Able to Golf After my Partial Knee Replacement?” as to answer some of their most frequently asked questions. The blog also lets them keep people informed on updates with the practice.

The Florida Knee and Orthopedic Centers produces a bi-monthly orthopedic newsletter that includes a “What’s New in The Office?” section, a new bone-healthy recipe to try, a “Medical Spotlight” section and seasonal trends. The FKOC newsletter currently has over four thousand subscribers and counting. Subscribers to the newsletter are also informed of upcoming events, new seminars, and patient appreciation days being hosted by FKOC.

Links to The Florida Knee and Orthopedic Centers’ social network pages, orthopedic blog and orthopedic newsletter can be found on FKOC’s website at To keep updated with FKOC, follow them on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram, like them on Facebook, circle them on Google +, subscribe to their YouTube channel and newsletter, and follow along with their blog. Also, be sure to look out for FKOC's ongoing contributing articles showcased in The Tampa Bay Newspapers multiple issues.
