The Florida Knee and Orthopedic Centers Offer X-ray and MRI Evaluations at No Cost
Date:9/30/2013

Clearwater, FL (PRWEB) September 30, 2013

Many people don’t seek treatment for their painful joints for the simple fact that they either don’t know where to start or they are afraid of what kind of treatments the doctor may suggest. Fortunately, The Florida Knee and Orthopedic Centers (FKOC) offer free X-ray and MRI evaluations to anyone that would like an expert’s opinion on their painful joints. FKOC encourages patients to send in their most recent X-ray or MRI films for an evaluation performed by some of the area’s top orthopedic surgeons.

The Tampa Bay based orthopedic surgeons at FKOC don’t want anyone to have to suffer from severe joint pain and let it go untreated for any reason. The surgeons ask that the X-rays / MRIs be weight bearing films and have been taken within the past six months. Once the films are received, an experienced orthopedic surgeon reviews them and provides their expert recommendation.

The doctors at FKOC often receive patients that have received a recommendation from other surgeons proposing overly-invasive procedures when there are easier, more effective options. For this reason, FKOC suggests having a no-obligation second opinion; even when receiving a previous diagnosis from a different doctor. It is common for them to notify patients that they can receive a partial knee resurfacing as an alternative to a total knee replacement, as they were previously told by other doctors.

People that are suffering from hip, shoulder and knee pain can now send in an x-ray or MRI to be evaluated
