Announcement and Conference Call Scheduled for December 18, 2007

MISSION VIEJO, Calif., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Ensign Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENSG), the parent company of the Ensign(TM) group of skilled nursing, rehabilitative care services and assisted living companies, announced today that it expects to issue its fiscal third quarter 2007 financial results after the market close on Tuesday, December 18, 2007.

Conference Call

A live webcast will be held the same day, Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time (5:00 p.m. Eastern Time) to discuss Ensign's third quarter 2007 financial results.

To listen to the webcast, or to view any financial or other statistical information required by SEC Regulation G, please visit the Investors section of the Ensign(TM) website at http://investor.ensigngroup.net. The webcast will be recorded, and will be available via the website until 10 days after the live webcast ends.

The Ensign Group, Inc's registration statement was declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 8, 2007. As a newly-public company, Ensign's third quarter 2007 quarterly report is not due until the first business day which is 45 days thereafter, December 24, 2007.
