SCAI's committee on web-based communications and education, explained the clinical value of this platform: "The range and complexity of cardiovascular diseases requires electronic medical care advancement platforms that provide for the rapid exchange and dissemination of multi-specialty clinical information, knowledge and experiences among healthcare professionals involved in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and endovascular disease. SCAI is pleased to partner with EVF to offer a sophisticated electronic medical care advancement platform for Interventional Cardiologists all around the world. SCAI's partnership with EVF is yet another way that we are working to optimize medical care for patients worldwide."

With the addition of SCAI members to the www.EndoVascular.Org electronic medical care advancement community, the Endovascular Forum's online, global clinician network is significantly expanded to include the disciplines of invasive and interventional cardiovascular medicine. This also provides interaction for SCAI members in the disciplines of vascular medicine, interventional radiology, and vascular surgery resulting from the Endovascular Forum's internal membership as well as that of the Endovascular Forum's partnerships with the International Symposia for Endovascular Therapy (http://www.ISET.org), the Society for Vascular Medicine (http://www.svmb.org), and Controversies in Dialysis Access (http://www.aievolution.com/cda0801).
