The Memory Care facility will be a secured building that will emphasize freedom within, without the need for wanderguard bracelets or anklets. Dignity and excellence of care will be priority, which has already been demonstrated in the Cottages Investment Group’s first two ventures, The Cottages on Golden Pond Assisted Living & Memory Care in Shawano, WI. Peterson, who is also the General Manager of the Shawano locations, will over see the start up and ongoing operations of all four facilities. Peterson also stated, "The Cottages staff takes a great deal of pride in the reputation they have built for The Cottages locations and I am excited to bring this Memory Care living environment to Oconto County communities. Dementia care requires a special type of person and the best training available. Because we provide that, I believe The Cottages caregivers are confident, loving and professional in each situation they face. We all enter health care for one reason; To make life healthier and more enjoyable for those in our community whom we respect and admire. The Cottages Tenants and their children trust us to provide the best care possible. And, we do a very good job at that."
