Healthcare provider to expand relationship with healthcare technology solutions provider

PLANO, Texas, April 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Christ Hospital (TCH) and Perot Systems Corporation (NYSE: PER) (www.perotsystems.com) today announced an agreement in which Perot Systems will provide revenue cycle services to the Cincinnati-based healthcare provider. The multi-year agreement continues TCH's current relationship where Perot Systems' Revenue Cycle Solutions team will provide billing, follow-up and certain customer service functions.

"We are very excited about our opportunity to grow with the help of Perot Systems," said Susan Croushore, President and CEO of The Christ Hospital. "Perot Systems was originally brought in to assist with keeping our Accounts Receivable (A/R) current during a major system conversion. They kept cash stable and A/R down during the conversion."

"With this new agreement, Perot Systems will enable The Christ Hospital to continue to do what they do best - provide outstanding patient care," said Chuck Lyles, president of Perot Systems' healthcare group. "Our team of Revenue Cycle specialists will bring efficiencies and advanced technologies to their Revenue Cycle process to help maintain a consistent cash flow for The Christ Hospital."

Perot Systems Revenue Cycle Solutions team provides the following solutions for clients: customized onsite revenue cycle solutions, revenue cycle outsourcing, health information management (HIM) solutions, as well as extended business office (EBO) solutions.
