The Bay Area’s Lieberman & Parikh Expanded the Team—and Available Cosmetic Services—in March

Facing an ever-expanding patient base and rapid growth of their practice, Dr. David Lieberman and Dr. Sachin Parikh welcomed a new registered nurse to their team in March. Citing her experience, expertise, and passion for the industry, the staff at Lieberman & Parikh Facial Plastic Surgery is relying on Moira Ljungquist, RN, to administer minimally invasive treatments—such as micropen and Ultherapy®. She will also act as an alternate for the doctors when it comes to handling injectables, such as dermal fillers and BOTOX®, for San Francisco Bay Area patients.

In addition to her micropen and BOTOX® duties, Moira will gradually increase her responsibilities on the surgical side of the practice, eventually meeting patients along with the doctors prior to surgery, following patients into the OR and recovery room, and visiting them post-op. In short, she will move alongside them throughout all of the steps on their journey of transformation.

Moira has worked around the country as a travel nurse, learning how different hospitals operate from coast to coast, and eventually settling at Stanford, where she interacted with patients suffering from head injuries and in need of a variety of surgeries in the neuro/trauma unit. Through it all, she has developed a commitment to quality patient care, thorough medical understanding, and excellent results.

Speaking on her passion for plastic surgery and cosmetic care, Moira said, “It is another way to make people happy. When they feel good about themselves, they feel like the world is easier to navigate, and confidence in their being just comes out. ... They can hold their head up higher. For some people, all it takes is a little injection here or there. For others, it involves a little more. … Figuring that out and being a part of making it happen is really exciting.”

She noted that a treatment or procedure, whether a simple injection or full facelift, can be a catalyst that inspires people to take better care of themselves by living a healthier lifestyle.

The life-changing care available at Lieberman & Parikh Facial Plastic Surgery is built on a foundation of two double-board-certified physicians dedicated to educating patients, developing trust and respect, and providing superior services, including reconstructive surgery; cosmetic facial, nasal, and ear surgery; and nonsurgical treatments from BOTOX® to lip augmentation to the fat-reducing Kybella®.
