Austin, TX (PRWEB) June 07, 2013

The Austin Diagnostic Clinic (ADC), a local multi-specialty physician association, announced that John Ratcliff, CPA, joined the group as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Ratcliff succeeds Patrick Jupe, who served the clinic for 27 years before his retirement in April 2013.

As a member of the executive team, Mr. Ratcliff’s focus will be to improve the Clinic’s revenue cycle and drive business initiatives. With 22 years of experience in health care accounting and practice management, Mr. Ratcliff’s expertise will support the clinic’s vision and goals providing compassionate care and excellent service for patients in the local health market.

“I am very excited to have Mr. Ratcliff on board, “ said Ghassan Salman, MD and Chief Executive Officer of The Austin Diagnostic Clinic. “He brings a depth of experience and skill to our executive team.”

Mr. Ratcliff recently served as chief financial officer of physician services for the Baptist Health System in San Antonio overseeing a group of 130 physicians. His previous experience includes practice management for HeartPlace in Dallas, TX; followed by a position at Seton in Austin, TX; and he served as chief financial officer at Kings Daughters Clinic in Temple, TX for nine years.

“I am very pleased to be a part of The Austin Diagnostic Clinic family, and I look forward to supporting our providers and our staff as we continue the ADC tradition of providing compassionate care for the communities we serve” said Mr. Ratcliff.

Mr. Ratcliff received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas in 1989 and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Mr. Ratcliff was active in several charitable organizations in San Antonio and says he looks forward to volunteering in Austin in the future.
