Date:3/25/2008

ROCKVILLE, Md., March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Aronson & Company and the Aronson Foundation, a charitable organization, recently presented a $3,500 check to Children's National Medical Center of Washington, DC. The gift, raised from and by Aronson & Company staffers, has been earmarked for books and other reading materials for the young patients.

Commented Lisa J. Cines, Managing Officer, "The Aronson Foundation is pleased to be able to further support the hospital in their efforts to help the children of this community. Our staff has proven time and time again that they believe in the hospital's mission and they have been eager to raise more money to benefit these young people."

Aronson & Company, a Washington area accounting and consulting firm, formed the Aronson Foundation to address the needs of the community we have served for over 40 years. With a primary focus on the needs of children, the Foundation grants charitable contributions to organizations who have dedicated themselves to providing services that enhance our world and help the people in it thrive and succeed. All of this is made possible through the generosity and enthusiasm of Aronson & Company staff, officers, clients and friends.

"We are so grateful for the continued support of companies like Aronson," said Julie Hudtloff, associate director of Volunteer Services at Children's National. "A new book often puts a smile on a child's face, and this gift will go a long way in helping to boost the spirits of hundreds of patients and their families."
