The American Hospital Association Extends Its Exclusive Endorsement of Performance Management Software from Halogen Software
Date:3/1/2016

The American Hospital Association (AHA) today announced it has extended its exclusive endorsement of Halogen’s Performance Management Software. Following the AHA Signature Due Diligence Process™, AHA Solutions, a division of Health Forum, the strategic business enterprise of the American Hospital Association (AHA), awards the AHA Endorsement to products and services that help member hospitals and health care organizations achieve operational excellence.

In order to help improve patient safety, satisfaction and the quality of care, health care facilities rely on their employees’ skills and performance. To help them manage and improve performance, many organizations will conduct employee performance management processes like appraisals, which they often find to be complex and time-consuming.

Halogen Performance™ Healthcare addresses this issue by transforming the performance appraisal process from an administrative burden to a strategic ongoing process. Halogen Performance Healthcare gives HR and health care leaders easy point-and-click access to the information needed to develop and manage a high-performing workforce. The cloud-based solution enables managers to document expectations and provide continuous, relevant feedback to employees, improving employee performance and job satisfaction while providing hospitals with insights about their overall workforce. For reasons such as these, it has garnered the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the industry by Gartner, Bersin by Deloitte, Forrester, IDC and KLAS.

“Halogen Software has proven its commitment to helping hospitals improve employee performance while increasing managers’ available time to focus on patient care,” said Tim Steffl, chief operating & development officer, AHA Solutions. “Halogen’s AHA Endorsed software solution is designed to meet the specific performance management needs of health care providers.”

“We’re thrilled with the AHA’s extended endorsement of our performance management software solution, Halogen Performance Healthcare,” said Donna Ronayne, chief marketing officer, Halogen Software. “We’re focused on enabling our health care customers to make performance management a part of their business rhythm so they can achieve the outcomes that matter most to their organizations — from compliance and accreditation reporting, to staff development, to improved patient satisfaction.”
