An alternative to lap banding is now available to all women looking to lose weight

(PRWEB) August 21, 2009 -- Babes on the Run has just launched their Weight Loss Personal Training program in addition to their series of women's only packages. Launched in Perth in 2007, Babes on the Run was started by mother and personal trainer Justine Guest in an effort to give women access to professional, results based personal training programs that were affordable, social and outdoors.

Concerned by the complications and lack of support some of her clients who had undergone lap band procedures were experiencing, Guest has produced the Babes Weight Loss program to address many of the issues raised. Feedback from clients confused by the large range of diet and coaching advice available led to ensuring that the Babes Weight Loss Program addressed a range of issues specific to many women in one simple program.

"People need to be educated about the reality of living with a lap banding procedure. It has many good points but some of the negatives can impact your quality of life. I have a client that hasn't been able to eat a proper meal in months. It's just not a quick fix," says Guest.

"Our Weight Loss program has been designed so the trainer is working with each client in some way almost every day. This ensures we can stay in constant contact and offer on-going support instead of retrospectively trying to analyse what is happening in a client's life," says Guest.
