Texas Children's Hospital Selects Hyland Software's OnBase to Complete Electronic Medical Records Initiative

"OnBase has proven its integration with GE Logician, Epic, and PeopleSoft. When searching for an ECM solution, we required that the provider have experience not only in integrating with complementary applications but also have the expertise to support our back office operations such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Human Resources and our legal department, to make our ECM solution complete," explained David Finn, vice president and chief information officer for Texas Children's Hospital. "Hyland's proven experience in these applications and enterprise-wide scalability will support our mission to provide excellent patient care, while also enhancing our commitment to cost-effective service."

Becoming an OnBase customer in December 2006, the Texas Children's Hospital enterprise vision began with implementations in Accounts Payable (AP), Project Management/Services and the Emergency Department including all clinical users. The enterprise implementation will span every Texas Children's Hospital department and process within the next four years.
