Tess Daly Supports Hallmark's Breast Cancer Campaign
Date:3/10/2009

e £1/4 million raised from its 2009 Mother's Day campaign will be split between Breast Cancer Campaign (£225,000) and Action Breast Cancer, a programme of the Irish Cancer Society (£25,000). The contribution is made irrespective of how many cards are bought.

Lisa Palillo, Marketing and CSR Communications Controller at Hallmark Cards said: "Our 'Cards for a Cure™' campaign has become a major strand within our Corporate Social Responsibility policy. With breast cancer affecting so many mums, daughters and women in the UK, we're determined to raise as much money as possible to help fund further research into finding a cure for the disease.

"Through this exclusive Tess Daly designed card and partnership with Seventy Seven Diamonds, we have been able to create a truly unique card which will make a wonderful gift for one very lucky mum."

The card forms part of a major marketing drive to support Hallmark's 'Card for a Cure™' initiative. It will be supported by a three-week national TV advertising campaign which will run from 01 March 2009.
