The dinner, themed "Little Moments, Big Magic -- A Match That Lights an Eternal Friendship" will celebrate and support the mentorship that BBBS provides for children locally and throughout the nation.
Big Brothers Big Sisters screens and trains volunteers to provide children from single-parent homes with a relationship that provides friendship, guidance, acceptance and mentoring. The long-term mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) is to bring the magic of mentoring to 1 million children by 2010. Today, BBBS serves more than 200,000 youngsters, age 5-18, nationwide.
