SOMERSET, N.J., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Terrell Herring, Chief Operating Officer of inVentiv Health (Nasdaq: VTIV) and President and CEO of inVentiv Commercial Services, will be honored at the First Annual Big Brothers Big Sisters(R) (BBBS) of Hunterdon & Somerset Counties Gala Dinner on October 11, 2007. The dinner, themed "Little Moments, Big Magic -- A Match That Lights an Eternal Friendship" will celebrate and support the mentorship that BBBS provides for children locally and throughout the nation.
Big Brothers Big Sisters screens and trains volunteers to provide children from single-parent homes with a relationship that provides friendship, guidance, acceptance and mentoring. The long-term mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) is to bring the magic of mentoring to 1 million children by 2010. Today, BBBS serves more than 200,000 youngsters, age 5-18, nationwide.
Mr. Herring began his involvement with the organization as a volunteer Big Brother a decade ago while living in Atlanta, Ga., and has been an active supporter of the organization ever since.
