TerrAlign Selected to Join Veeva System's Veeva Web Program

Veeva CRM customers can now easily leverage TerrAlign to optimize their sales resource deployment through enhanced territory alignment

(PRWEB) May 11, 2010 -- The TerrAlign Group, Inc. a leader in Sales Resource Optimization (SRO) today announced that it will be part of the inaugural launch of Veeva System’s Veeva Web™ program. Inclusion in this program validates the need for best in class sales territory alignment and management solutions at leading life sciences companies, and recognizes the value of integration with the Veeva CRM platform.

Veeva Web is the first network of SaaS CRM applications for life sciences companies. Veeva Systems’ new strategic partner network enables Veeva CRM™ customers to easily extend the use and reach of their multi-tenant SaaS CRM systems without the typical system integration complexities or corresponding costs. Veeva Web embraces partners that offer best-of-breed application components for a pharmaceutical company’s complete commercial infrastructure. To date, Veeva Web partners cover three areas – closed loop marketing, territory management, and sample distribution/accountability – and will continue to expand to other areas.

“Veeva Web is a prime example of the business value that a mature multi-tenant architecture can deliver. Veeva and TerrAlign’s partnership brings a true turn-key territory alignment solution for Veeva CRM,” states Brian Longo, director of product development at Veeva Systems. “This powerful combination of two distinct applications gives Life Sciences companies an immediate cost saving for their sales territory management needs.”

With this announcement, TerrAlign is also announcing that TerrAlign for Veeva is now generally available. TerrAlign for Veeva is a complete offering of our flagship optimization solution TerrAlign 4, our SaaS-based alignment module TerrAlign eMap and our certified integration with Veeva CRM. This follows the same approach taken with TerrAlign for Salesforce – the first and only certified sales territory alignment solution for Salesforce users.

“Having a vested interest in this market, with over twenty years of working directly with leading life sciences companies, we’re excited to participate in this new program,” said TerrAlign’s Ken Kramer, Director, Business Development & Product Marketing. “We believe it will enable the best possible solution for customers and further build on our existing Veeva partnership. This is a proven way to go to market and delivers the most value to customers with least effort in integrating multiple solutions.”

TerrAlign enables companies to automate and optimize their sales resource deployment through enhanced territory alignment and management approaches. Sales operations users can balance territories on user-defined business metrics, such as workload or revenue potential, while minimizing drive time, considering geography and automatically limiting account disruption. Sales operations users can optimize hundreds of territories in minutes with real-world results. With TerrAlign, companies can model various alignment scenarios and select the optimal outcome for their situation by considering tradeoffs in balance, disruption and compactness of territories. Field managers can review alignments and suggest modifications to territories in their regions or districts.
