Telesoft Achieves U.S.-EU and U.S. Swiss Safe Harbor Certification
Date:10/23/2013

(PRWEB) October 23, 2013

Telesoft, trusted experts in fixed and mobile Telecom Expense Management (TEM) software and services, has announced its certification of compliance with the Safe Harbor Framework developed by the United States Department of Commerce and the European Commission and Switzerland. Completing this self-certifying Safe Harbor compliance has reconfirmed Telesoft's commitment to client data security by formalizing rigorous privacy principles for processing personal information.

“Investing in Safe Harbor certification is an easy decision for a company dedicated to the service and security of its customers," stated Thierry Zerbib, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Telesoft. "We are not only committed to supporting the evolving needs of our European Union clients, but also place the highest importance on security for all the personal information under our care.”

In 1998, the EU enacted a directive on data protection that would prohibit the transfer of personal data to non-EU nations (including the U.S.) that do not meet the EU standards for protection. Therefore, companies, like Telesoft, who are certified under the Safe Harbor Framework, are allowed to receive personal data from EU countries.

“Confidentiality and Privacy has always been our top priority, but being Safe Harbor certified is an official recognition by an objective third party and we are pleased to have been awarded this certification,” added Zerbib. “We are working relentlessly to provide the most secure solution for our prospects in the United States and abroad so that they can have peace of mind when using Telesoft software and services.”
