TeamStaff Rx Awarded JCAHO Certification
Date:2/26/2008

SOMERSET, N.J., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TeamStaff Rx, a wholly owned subsidiary of TeamStaff, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSTF) has achieved the Gold Seal of Approval(TM) for health care staffing services from The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations ("JCAHO").

The JCAHO review included inspection of TeamStaff Rx's pre-screening and credentialing processes, performance evaluations, education processes and information management systems practices. The on-site review addresses compliance with national standards and evaluates how staffing firms determine the qualifications and competency of their staff, how they place their staff, and how they monitor staff's performance.

"Health care organizations that contract with TeamStaff Rx can look to this certification as an assurance that TeamStaff Rx demonstrates a commitment to providing and continuously improving quality services," says Michele Sacco, M.S., executive director Health Care Staffing Services Certification, Joint Commission.

The ongoing shortages of nurses and other health care professionals has driven health care organizations to increasingly fill positions with temporary workers through contractual arrangements with staffing firms like TeamStaff Rx. The Joint Commission's certification program, launched in October 2004, offers an independent, comprehensive evaluation of a staffing firm's ability to provide competent staffing services.

"Certification recognizes and validates TeamStaff Rx's dedication to providing traveling Nurse and Allied professionals that are qualified to provide safe, high-quality care to patients," says Terry Merlin RN, Director of TeamStaff Rx. "We're proud to receive The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval
