Tasker Products Receives USDA Consent to Begin Immediate Commercialization of Tasker Clear Throughout Entire Poultry Processing Operations

FAIR LAWN, N.J., April 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tasker Products Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: TKER), a distributor and marketer of proprietary technology effective in inhibiting pathogenic bacteria, today announced that it has received a "Letter of No Objections" from the Food Safety and Inspection Service ("FSIS") of the United States Food and Drug Administration ("USDA") to market its patented Tasker Clear in all sections of poultry processing.

Currently, poultry processors use various acidifiers to control the pH levels of poultry intervention systems. These acidifiers predominately come in dry, powder form that can be corrosive and cumbersome to use in a plant environment and are more expensive and less friendly than liquid solutions. Tasker Clear is an effective acidifier in liquid form, making it easier and less expensive to administer under complex processing conditions.

Commenting on the latest progress, Lanny Dacus, Tasker's president and CEO, said, "This is a major achievement for Tasker. With the poultry processing relationships we have established over the last 18 months, we now have a new product to market that can be immediately deployed and is in wide demand. Our new Tasker Clear product is the only acidifier available in aqueous form. It is highly concentrated, effective and cost competitive. We are excited to receive such a complete response from the USDA. The regulatory consent of this product extends our marketing effort in the poultry industry to include approximately 50 turkey plants, and possibly red meat plants. The quick response received from the USDA on Tasker Clear may accelerate the review, and possible approval, of Tasker's application for red meat."
