Tasker Products Receives USDA Consent to Begin Immediate Commercialization of Tasker Clear Throughout Entire Poultry Processing Operations
Date:4/15/2008

Tasker's Clear product will be marketed from the Scalder to the Post-Chill

Dip and Spray

FAIR LAWN, N.J., April 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tasker Products Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: TKER), a distributor and marketer of proprietary technology effective in inhibiting pathogenic bacteria, today announced that it has received a "Letter of No Objections" from the Food Safety and Inspection Service ("FSIS") of the United States Food and Drug Administration ("USDA") to market its patented Tasker Clear in all sections of poultry processing.

Currently, poultry processors use various acidifiers to control the pH levels of poultry intervention systems. These acidifiers predominately come in dry, powder form that can be corrosive and cumbersome to use in a plant environment and are more expensive and less friendly than liquid solutions. Tasker Clear is an effective acidifier in liquid form, making it easier and less expensive to administer under complex processing conditions.

Commenting on the latest progress, Lanny Dacus, Tasker's president and CEO, said, "This is a major achievement for Tasker. With the poultry processing relationships we have established over the last 18 months, we now have a new product to market that can be immediately deployed and is in wide demand. Our new Tasker Clear product is the only acidifier available in aqueous form. It is highly concentrated, effective and cost competitive. We are excited to receive such a complete response from the USDA. The regulatory consent of this product extends our marketing effort in the poultry industry to include approximately 50 turkey plants, and possibly red meat plants. The quick response received from the USDA on Tasker Clear may accelerate the review, and possible approval, of Tasker's application for red meat."

Tasker Products also has poultry processing applications for its Tasker Blue product. Tasker Blue uses acidified copper sulfate in a patented process to reduce all forms of pathogenic bacteria. The company has received approvals from the USDA to test Tasker Blue in the chiller, post-chiller dip and post-chiller spray applications. The Company previously received a Letter of No Objections from the USDA for its Tasker Blue application for the scalder section of poultry processing, which it is currently marketing; however, the recent postponement of stricter regulatory requirements for the scalder has impacted the Company's marketing strategy in the short term.

Mr. Dacus added, "We plan to be in the market with our Tasker Clear immediately, and expect the product to have a positive impact on our second quarter results."
