Tariq Drabu Dentist Affair and Media Department Heralds First Six Months of New Websites
Date:2/24/2013

ing websites and use them as a medium to promote our products on the Internet. When we started our web presence on sites such as Facebook or Twitter was negligible and I am pleased that the Tariq Drabu affair and media department has substantially bolstered and reinforced our presence on these types of websites. In terms of raw numbers we have seen an increase in new patients by almost 20% year on year compared with the same 6 month period for 2011/12. Many patients when asked in surveys have stated that they have joined the practice after finding us on the internet. Our websites give detailed information on the types of treatments that are available such as tooth whitening, crowns, treatment under sedation and minor oral surgery. The Tariq Drabu affair and media department have put together quite detailed clinical information in an easy to understand and user-friendly format. In many instances when treating patients we actually referred to the pictures on the website and the related text in order to give patients a better understanding of what treatment is being offered."

Tariq Drabu added "Another focus of the Tariq Drabu affair and media department has been to conduct surveys of our service users in order to gain feedback on levels of satisfaction and the quality of the service. These have been very useful in enabling us to plan for the future and also to make immediate improvements where needed. The surveys have pointed to increasing patient numbers, the use of the websites to access our services, and overall a high degree of satisfaction with the level of service offered."

Tariq Drabu concluded by saying "As a dentist one is not just focused on clinical work alone
