This free online conference will be available to the public 24-hours a day between March 27, 2020 and June 30, 2020, and will focus on asthma symptoms, the different kinds of asthma, treatment options, the experience of other patients and much more. Attendees will hear from respiratory experts including as well as patient advocates and patients themselves living with asthma. “Understanding my disease better and knowing my early warning signals helped me to reduce my hospitalizations from two per year to almost zero. Knowledge had a direct impact on my quality of life," stated Mitchell Silva, a patient expert.

Virtual health conferences like AsthmaCon 2020 are an innovative way of sharing educational information with patients and caregivers, allowing participants to digest the material online over a three month period, hear from all of the speakers, download information, and return to the conference on their own schedules, in the comfort of their homes. There is no fee to participate.

AsthmaCon 2020 is an AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals initiative in partnership with The American Allergy and Asthma Network (AAN), the Global Allergy and Asthma Patient Platform (GAAPP), the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) and Talos Health Systems.
