Larry Hochendoner, former executive Director of TPAC and current non voting Board member, administered the oath of office to ACTS members, saying "Since AmeriCorps was established in 1992 by President Clinton and Congress, our goal was to make community service the common experience and expectation for all citizens, especially among our young people. Today we deepen the tradition of service by spreading the word and getting real things done."
