THE RESULTS ARE IN! VASER(R) Lipo Receives 95% Approval Rating by Physician Users
Date:2/3/2009

LOUISVILLE, Colo., Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Physicians have been raving about the VASER Lipo System for body contouring. In a 2008 survey of U.S. VASER Lipo physicians, 95% of respondents would recommend the VASER Lipo System to another physician or facility. The VASER Lipo System allows physicians to perform a wide array of body contouring applications from precise sculpting to significant fat removal.

"Hundreds of thousands of people are choosing minimally invasive body contouring procedures each year, and we are proud that VASER Lipo is at the forefront of this popular trend. We are always pleased to receive positive feedback from our physicians reinforcing the superior results possible with VASER technology in the hands of skilled physicians," says Dan Goldberger, CEO of Sound Surgical Technologies LLC.

The majority of doctors surveyed found that VASER Lipo offered the following benefits over traditional liposuction:

  • fast patient recovery
  • less pain medication required
  • minimal bruising
  • reduced need for re-treatments
  • smooth, predictable results
  • skin tightening
  • increased precision
  • reduced physician fatigue

Physician users indicated they use the VASER Lipo System to remove fat from common areas such as the abdomen, waist, hips, back, buttocks and thighs, as well as more delicate areas such as the arms, calves, ankles, knees, face and neck. Many physicians also reported that they use the VASER System to reduce male and female breasts.

The VASER Lipo System is a third-generation internal ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty device manufactured by Sound Surgical Technologies LLC in Louisville, Colorado. This technology enables physicians to precisely emulsify fat cells in the body while preserving important tissues like nerve
