TCS Founder Pock Presents Gift to CMSA Foundation President Frater During Annual CMSA Conference

AUBURN, Calif., July 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- TCS Healthcare Technologies (TCS), an industry leader in the development of medical management software applications, presented an unrestricted grant of $5,000 to the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) Foundation during CMSA's annual meeting last month in Phoenix, Arizona.

Rob Pock, TCS Founder and CEO, extended his thanks to CMSA for "enhancing the practice of case management in health care and its support of leveraging technology as a way to promote best practices in the field." "A primary focus of TCS is to work closely with CMSA to help make case management more effective and efficient in providing patient services," he explained.

Jeff Frater, CMSA Foundation President, commented to the reception attendees, "I want to personally thank TCS for providing financial support to the Foundation and enhancing its educational mission. TCS is one of CMSA's outstanding partners in advancing the practice of case management. The TCS donation will be used to further the educational needs of many case managers."

Pock added that "the TCS gift to the Foundation is a token of our appreciation to CMSA and its membership for their commitment of caring for people from all walks of life with a myriad of health issues." Pock presented the gift during a TCS reception at the CMSA conference that was attended by most of CMSA's leadership and about 200 guests.

Jeff Frater highlighted three examples of where TCS continues to demonstrate its leadership in the case management field. "TCS was the first care management software company to fully integrate the Case Management Adherence Guidelines (CMAG) in Acuity Advanced Care(TM)." Frater also extended CMSA's appreciation to TCS "for developing and supporting Acuity AnyWare(TM), which is geared to independent and small groups of case managers and is offered exclusively as a membership benefit of CMSA. TCS also assumed a leadership role in sponsoring the national survey with CMSA and others looking at national trends in care management software applications."

The CMSA Foundation will work to conduct and provide research to the case/care management field and the general public on issues, trends and emerging forces in the case/care management field and related academic disciplines. The Foundation also will focus on enhancement and expansion of educational opportunities currently offered to clinical, technical and managerial case managers using classroom and online content.

TCS continues to be one of the premier care management software companies in the United States designing, offering and hosting a number of products and services including:

  • Acuity Advanced Care, a comprehensive and integrated care management software system for Utilization Management (UM), Case Management (CM), Disease Management (DM), and Prevention/Wellness (PW) services;
  • Acuity AnyWare, a web-enabled case management software application specifically designed for independent professionals or small organizations, which is sponsored by the Case Management Society of America (CMSA);
  • AcuCare, evidenced-based care programs, which includes clinical assessments and outcome-based care plans;
  • AcuStrat(TM), a population stratification and automation tool that turns patient healthcare information into automated actionable events;
  • AcuExchange(TM), a provider portal that allows providers to submit authorization requests over the Internet and collaborate with the payer;
  • AcuPort(TM), a middleware software (Extraction, Transformation, & Loading) solution to link disparate information, from multiple applications into one useful system; and
