Case Management Society of America (CMSA) Recognizes TCS As First Software

AUBURN, Calif., Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- TCS Healthcare Technologies, an industry leader in the development of software and clinical solutions to improve medical management performance and effectiveness, announced today that it has fully operationalized the Case Management Adherence Guidelines(C) (CMAG) and related reports into the acuity advanced care(TM) System (ACUITY). TCS is also using them as an integral component of their AcuCare Programs (clinical content).

Cheri Lattimer, Executive Director, Case Management Society of America (CMSA) notes that "ACUITY was the first medical management software system to fully integrate the CMAG assessments and reports into its application and was recognized by CMSA for doing so last year. I am pleased to see the continued progress that TCS Healthcare Technologies is making by fully operationalizing CMAGs within ACUITY and into their clinical content."

Peter Moran, CMSA President, observed further that "the CMAG program was designed to help case managers aid in the assessment, planning, facilitation, and advocacy of patient adherence. They provide an interaction and management algorithm to assess and improve the patient's knowledge and his/her motivation to take medications as they are prescribed."
