TCS Associates: A Sign Language Interpreting Agency Launches New Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) Service called TCSterps On-Demand

TCS Associates has launched TCSterps On-Demand, a comprehensive Video Relay Interpreting (VRI) service providing Sign Language Interpreting for Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing people throughout the United States and Canada.

(PRWEB) October 1, 2009 -- TCS Associates, (http://www.TCSassociates.com) a total solutions provider for people with Disabilities, has launched TCSterps On-Demand, a comprehensive Video Relay Interpreting (VRI) service providing Sign Language Interpreting for Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing people throughout the United States and Canada.

TCSterps On-Demand VRI service is an easy-to-use on-demand system that uses the latest Internet videoconferencing and web-based technologies to access sign language interpreting services without an interpreter on-site. Instead of having an interpreter physically present with the Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing and hearing parties, the interpreter is located at one of TCS Associates offices and facilitates communication remotely via video.

"No longer does a hospital have to wait hours for a live interpreter to arrive at 3 am on Christmas or New Year's Eve in a snowstorm. No longer does the hospital have to commit to long term leases of rapidly obsolete, heavy, bulky equipment. No longer does the hospital have to commit to minimum usage requirements.
