T.E.N. Honors Top Security Executives and Projects at the ISE® West Awards
Date:8/7/2013

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) August 07, 2013

T.E.N., a technology and information security executive networking and relationship-marketing firm, honored finalists and winners Tuesday evening at the 2013 ISE® West Executive Forum and Awards Gala at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco.

Jeff Haskill, Vice President and Chief Security Officer at Flextronics, was selected as the Information Security Executive® of the Year Award winner. Flextronics is a $24B, industry-leading, Fortune Global 500 end-to-end supply chain solutions company with more than 150,000 employees and operations in over 30 countries, and Haskill is responsible for delivering a corporate-wide, highly successful information security program to ensure that company information assets are protected. Jeff Trudeau, Information Security Officer for Sutter Health, was selected as a finalist in the executive category.

Eric Fisch, Senior Vice President – Information Security, for Texas Capital Bank, was both an executive category finalist and the ISE® West People’s Choice Award Winner. This award represents the nominee who best exemplifies information security leadership as voted on by his peers in information security.

The “Sutter Health Endpoint Encryption Project,” was selected as the ISE® West Project of the Year. Trudeau accepted on behalf of the project, which implemented an FIPS 140-2 certified centrally managed encryption solution to all endpoint devices and their USB ports in order to protect against the loss of confidential information in the event of a lost or stolen device. Trudeau was also invited by judges to speak during the ISE® West Executive Forum regarding this project and his efforts to gain support and approval from key stakeholders in order to implement vital security initiatives.

“Although endpoint security is becoming common practice, our judges selected this project due to its significant scope and the extreme complexity of Sutter Health’s business environment,” said Marci McCarthy, CEO and president, T.E.N.

YP’s project, “Web Application Security Automation,” and the Pearson eCollege project, “Securing Application Layer,” were selected as finalists for the ISE® West Project of the Year Award.

The ISE® West awards recognize both information security executives and projects for outstanding achievements in risk management, data asset protection, compliance, privacy and network security. Award winners were selected from the U.S. West region, which includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
