Syndicom's Collaborative Web Platform Chosen to Facilitate Clinical Trials for Lumbar Disc Device from Aesculap Implant Systems

Web collaboration helps Aesculap Implant Systems stay abreast of ongoing

clinical trial results

DURANGO, Colo., April 8, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Syndicom, the premier developer of collaborative communities, today announced that the company is providing its online collaboration platform to facilitate a clinical study for a new lumbar disc product from Aesculap Implant Systems, a subsidiary of Aesculap, Inc., focusing on Spine and Orthopaedic devices. With this agreement, Syndicom will provide Aesculap Implant Systems with its own private, HIPAA-secure Web community, which has been built to support and facilitate communications between Aesculap Implant Systems, its principal investigators and other participants during the clinical trial.
