SynCare Announces Ian Duncan Joins Board of Directors

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- SynCare, LLC, today announced that Ian Duncan has joined the Board of Directors. Mr. Duncan, a world-renowned author and expert in the field of disease management and the economics of chronic care, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the SynCare board of directors.

Ian Duncan is founder and president of Solucia, Inc., a provider of actuarial and consulting services to the healthcare financing industry. Solucia focuses on medical management, predictive modeling and outcomes services to health insurers, employers and state Medicaid plans. Mr. Duncan has 30 years of experience in healthcare and insurance product design, management, financing, pricing and delivery. He is active in public policy and healthcare reform, having twice won the Disease Management Association of America's prize for the best published paper on disease management. In addition to numerous awards, he is a frequent speaker at industry events.

Mr. Duncan's recent groundbreaking book, Managing and Evaluating Healthcare Intervention Programs, represents essential reading for healthcare professionals committed to driving return on investment in care management efforts.
