Butter Bell Has Gone Pink To Promote Breast Cancer Awareness

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- L. Tremain, Inc. has entered into a partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to manufacture and sell a pink Butter Bell(R) Crock with a spreader that features the pink breast cancer awareness ribbon. The pink crock hits the shelves today in celebration of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the program will continue for six months, through March 2008. L. Tremain will donate $1.75 to Komen for the Cure with a minimum guaranteed donation of $10,000. The pink Butter Bell Crock with pink ribbon spreader has a suggested retail price of $24.95. Additionally, anyone who purchases a pink Butter Bell(R) Crock will receive a 25% discount on a second Butter Bell(R) Crock of his or her choice.

The French-inspired crock is a cook's delight, solving cold butter spreadability problems and safely keeping butter at room temperature without refrigeration, spoilage or odors. It will also be available at selected house wares, specialty and gourmet outlets including Sur La Table.
