Surgical Care Affiliates Names New SVP for Special Projects

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA) has named Ali Reza as its senior vice president of special projects. Mr. Reza will be responsible for a variety of ongoing initiatives and projects as the company positions itself for future growth.

"His previous work in the areas of operational turnaround and strategic planning in the health care industry will be a valuable asset as we move forward - he will be a great addition to our leadership team."

Prior to joining SCA, Mr. Reza was a principal with the Boston Consulting Group, an international strategy and general management consulting firm, where he served as a core member of the group's healthcare practice area and worked on a variety of projects in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Mr. Reza's functional focus for his clients was on operational turnaround, post-merger integration, and sales force effectiveness.

Mr. Reza received a bachelor's degree in international relations from Tufts University and a master's degree in business administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
