Date:10/3/2008

Drumlin Security, the UK-based PDF security specialist, today announced the launch of its superfast, low memory usage secure PDF reader. The reader is compatible with all current versions of the PDF specs and is believed to be the smallest and fastest such reader available.

UK (PRWEB) October 3, 2008 -- Drumlin Security (http://www.drumlinsecurity.co.uk) today announced the launch of its free DrumlinLite PDF reader. DrumlinLite is very small and fast, and does not load any add-ins. As a result DrumlinLite offers improved security and performance as compared to many other PDF readers. The program is designed for use on Windows 2000 and later versions of the Windows operating system. The reader is compatible with all current versions of the PDF specs and is believed to be the smallest and fastest such reader available.

No installation process is required: simply download the zip file, extract the contents to a convenient directory (e.g. c:program filesdrumlinlite) and run the drumlinlite.exe program. You can create a shortcut and drag this to your desktop for a quick link to the program. If you want to make DrumlinLite your default PDF reader then simply right click on any .pdf file and select the Open with... option and then Choose Program... and browse to locate DrumlinLite as your default PDF reader.

For increased functionality and secure PDF publishing facilities, please see the full Drumlin service described at http://www.drumlinsecurity.co.uk and http://www.pdf-publishing.com
