Super Lawyers Names Parker Waichman LLP’s Daniel C. Burke and William J. Dubanevich to 2013 List of Top Personal Injury Lawyers in New York State

(PRWEB) September 23, 2013

Daniel C. Burke and William J. Dubanevich have been named by New York Super Lawyers magazine as top attorneys in New York for personal injury law; Mr. Burke achieved the honor of Super Lawyer for Class Action/Mass Torts, and Mr. Dubanevich was named a Rising Star for his work in Environmental Litigation and Class Action/Mass Torts.

“I have dedicated my practice to environmental and toxic tort litigation and advocating for those who have been injured by corporate wrongdoing; the fact that my peers are recognizing me for my work and passion is one of the highest accolades a practitioner could receive,” said Mr. Dubanevich.

“It is a great honor to know that your peers recognize the quality of service you bring to your clients,” said Mr. Burke.

Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers selects attorneys using an intense, patented, multi-phase selection process that combines peer nominations and evaluations, and third-party research. Each candidate is rigorously analyzed by an attorney-led research department that considers 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Awards are distributed annually on a state-by-state basis.

More than 70 practice areas are involved, and only 5% of a state’s attorneys are named Super Lawyers, and no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list. The Rising Stars selection process is the precise same as the Super Lawyers selection process, only candidates must be either 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less.
