Sunquest Information Systems Enters into Business Relationship with MedFusion of Dallas

Sunquest Information Systems, Inc. ® announced that MedFusion®, of Dallas, Texas, has signed a business agreement to license laboratory information management, molecular diagnostics, and anatomic pathology software from Sunquest®.

(PRWEB) March 17, 2010 -- Sunquest Information Systems, Inc. ®, a leading provider of healthcare diagnostic information technology and outreach solutions, announced that MedFusion®, of Dallas, Texas, has signed a business agreement to license laboratory information management, molecular diagnostics, and anatomic pathology software from Sunquest®.

MedFusion specializes in applying advanced diagnostics to clinical practices and clinical trials, with a mission to improve patient care by creating and offering advances in the application of molecular diagnostics and personalized medicine. In addition to licensing Sunquest software, MedFusion will also contract with Sunquest for specific professional services to optimize the software’s benefits.
MedFusion selected Sunquest’s solutions after evaluating several available software products. The decision was based on the software’s capabilities, as well as the fact that both companies share a common vision centering on the important role the laboratory can play in enhancing future medical treatment.
