Sunquest Announces Significant Speaker Schedule for HIMSS 2010

ill speak on the topic “Lab Enterprise Analytics: Essential for Regional Healthcare Clinical Effectiveness in the EHR Era,” while Dr. Workman will address “Elephant in the Room: The Value of Your Laboratory Service Line.”

Trade Show Booth Speakers

Both Dr. Jones and Dr. Workman will also have scheduled presentations at the Sunquest HIMSS 2010 Theater, located at Booth # 1345. A detailed list of times is noted below; no reservation is required.

Additional featured presenters at Sunquest’s Booth will include: J. Mark Tuthill, MD, Division Head, Pathology Informatics at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI; Allana Cummings, EMBA, PMP, CPHIMS, Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha, NE; Patrick J. O’Sullivan, MS, MT (ASCP) SBB, Laboratory Operations Director at Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL; and Vicki Doctor, RN, BSN, BSW, OCN, Nurse Clinic Manager at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) in Goodyear, AZ.

Dr. Tuthill will address “Digital Pathology as a Transformational Technology,” while Ms. Cummings will address "Using Business Intelligence to Drive Organizational Efficiency.” Mr. O’Sullivan will talk on “Elevating Patient Safety Standards,” while Ms. Doctor will address “Technology and Compassion at CTCA.”
