Summit VetPharm Announces First Winner in its 'Great Vectra 3D(TM)' $125,000 Giveaway

FORT LEE, N.J., Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Shawn Hook of Arbor Ridge Clinic in Madison, Wisconsin was chosen in the January drawing of Summit VetPharm's "The Great Vectra 3D(TM)" $125,000 Giveaway. Dr. Hook is the first winner in this multi-level contest and will receive $25,000 in medical equipment for his veterinary clinic. There will be two more lucky $25,000 winners in drawings in February and March, and a final grand prize winner who will win $50,000 in medical equipment for their practice.

"The Great Vectra 3D" $125,000 Giveaway is being held from January 3 to March 31, 2008 and is part of Summit VetPharm's introductory sales incentive program for Vectra 3D, a new broad-spectrum topical that effectively protects dogs against three vectors -- fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. All four winners of the contest will be flown to New York City in May 2008 for an all-expense- paid awards ceremony weekend.

Dr. Hook graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison -- School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 1999. Since that time he has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Madison area. Dr. Hook has served as Vice President and President of the DCVMA (Dane County Veterinary Medical Association). He has also worked with many rescue groups like the Dane County Humane Society, Angel's Wish, Country Animal Haven and ARVS. His special interest is in exotic animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Hook took ownership of the Arbor Ridge Pet Clinic in March of 2007.
