Kanan Shridharani, MD, has recently joined Summit Medical Group’s Internal Medicine Department at it Berkeley Heights campus.

(Vocus) January 15, 2010 -- Kanan Shridharani, MD, has recently joined Summit Medical Group’s Internal Medicine Department.

Dr. Shridharani received her BA in Biochemistry , from Barnard College, Columbia University , New York, NY in 1986. She went on to earn her MD in 1991 from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, NY. Dr. Shridharani completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York NY from 1991-1994. Thereafter, she worked as an assistant professor at Mount Sinai Medical Center . Prior to joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Shridharani worked at Weill Cornell Medical Center, as an attending physician.

Dr. Shridharani is board certified in internal medicine and has special interests in smoking cessation and preventive care focusing on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
