Summer Brings Skin Cancer Awareness Month And Local Insurance Agents at Cunningham Financial Group Want to Remind Louisiana Residents to Stay Safe in the Sun

Natchitoches, LA (PRWEB) June 24, 2013

Summer is here and the sun is shining. Louisiana residents will surely be taking advantage of the warm weather by spending time outdoors and in the sun. Risk factors:

  • Excessive exposure to UV radiation – sunlight or tanning booths
  • Fair skin, light eyes and light hair
  • Genetics and heredity
  • Severe sunburns in the past
  • Unusual moles

Signs and symptoms:

  • The spread of skin color beyond its border
  • A change in the way a bump appears on skin
  • A ch
