Sumitra Mukherjee’s New Book Mines Medical Practice for Paranormal
Date:5/9/2013

LANCASHIRE, England (PRWEB) May 10, 2013

In his new book “The Unusual Diary of Dr. M” (published by AuthorHouse) Sumitra Mukherjee collects tales of the unexplained and paranormal, as related to him in the course of his medical practice in England.

“The stories are recollections of incidents which happened over the years,” says Mukherjee. “Family doctors may treat three generations, including grandparents, parents and children. In such a long career they become as if parts of family trees. Many cases they discover the true nature of patients characters that make them simply amazed. They are most ordinary peoples but they show so much compassions so much loves for fellow human beings.”

An excerpt from “The Unusual Diary of Dr. M,” from the chapter about an alcoholic:

“I really felt, everyday, an unknown and extremely powerful force was changing my destiny and remoulding me into someone else. I lost my medications one day. Previously, I would invent some plausible lie to get another prescription but, that day, I could not. I was terrified about the consequences of not having my medications.”

Mukherjee knows his tales, being inspired as they are by the stories he heard in his practice, will entertain readers, but he also believes they will be fascinated by the stories of metamorphosis.
