Stryker Recall Litigation in New Jersey Now Includes More than 2,000 Lawsuits over Rejuvenate, ABG II Metal Hips, Bernstein Liebhard LLP Reports
Date:7/18/2014

New York, NY (PRWEB) July 18, 2014

More than 450 additional Stryker recall (http://strykerhiprecallclaims.com/) lawsuits have been filed in New Jersey Superior Court in less than a month, suggesting continued progress in the Bergen County litigation, Bernstein Liebhard LLP reports.

A Case List posted July 8th on the Court’s website indicates that 2,051 cases over the Rejuvenate and ABG II modular-neck hip stems have now been filed in the proceeding. Plaintiffs in these cases allege similar injuries from the metal hip replacements, which were subject to a voluntary recall two years ago by Stryker Orthopaedics. Pain, swelling, and symptoms of metallosis are some of the complications that have been alleged in these lawsuits, according to court documents. “Our Firm is pleased to see the number of Stryker hip lawsuits continue to increase in New Jersey, as we continue to hear from individuals who were allegedly injured by the Rejuvenate and ABG II devices,” says Bernstein Liebhard LLP, a nationwide law firm representing victims of defective drugs and medical devices. The Firm is currently offering free and confidential case evaluations to individuals who may have been injured by the Stryker hip replacements.
