Stryker Discloses Informal Inquiry Made by United States Securities and Exchange Commission

KALAMAZOO, Mich., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Stryker Corporation (NYSE: SYK) disclosed today that the United States Securities and Exchange Commission has made an informal inquiry of the Company regarding possible violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in connection with the sale of medical devices in certain foreign countries. Stryker is fully cooperating with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission regarding this informal investigation.
