Date:4/16/2010

Clarity Group, Inc. hosts Small and Rural webinar that is attended by over 200 people.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 14, 2009 -- Clarity Group, Inc., a leading healthcare resource specializing in integrated risk/quality/safety systems and captive insurance company development and management, announced that on April 9, 2010 it hosted a webinar entitled ‘Strategic Management of Quality-Safety-Satisfaction Data in the Small and Rural Healthcare Arena’, which was attended by more than 200 people.

The strategic management of data begins with an understanding that capturing data across the healthcare system is central to beginning to understand the processes that impact patient care and to creating sustainable change in the areas of quality, safety and patient satisfaction. This complimentary program provided three (3) different models of how small and rural healthcare organizations have converted to an electronic system for data collection and what they have learned as a result.

A strong panel of presenters provided timely accounts of how their facilities successfully managed the migration from paper reporting to web-based management of Quality-Safety-Satisfaction data.

- Iris Vering, Director of Quality Services, Waverly Health System, Waverly, IA

- Jan Ellsworth, Director of Quality Services, Nantucket Cottage Hospital, Nantucket, MA

- Coleen Bomber, Department Manager, Clinical Support Services, Northwood Deaconess Hospital, Northwood, ND

- Jody Ward, ND CAH Quality Network Coordinator, Center for Rural Health, University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences

Given the amount of interest that this webinar has generated Clarity is making a recorded version of the session available at their website www.claritygrp.com. <
