Strandkorb & Meer looks back to a six year success story as a national retailer for traditional German "Strandkörbe" and the respective covers and supplies in Germany. Furthermore since 2004 more and more requests have been received from nearly all parts of the world. Roofed wicker beach chairs get more and more shipped to the UK, USA and even Australia. Strandkorb & Meer expects that international business will be responsible for more than 20% of their sales volume in 2010.

(PRWEB) June 28, 2010 -- Strandkorb & Meer, a leading retailer located in Munich, Germany has continously grown their business with roofed wicker beach chairs and expanded their sales to USA, UK and Australia for about six years. 2010 Strandkorb & Meer expects to reach a 20% share for the international sales of their tradtional German "Strandkoerbe".

With the beginning of the 20th century the roofed wicker beach chair had been well established as a usual furniture along the beaches of the Baltic and North Sea.. In the twenties the Strandkoerbe took off for a remarkable national and even international success story. Nowadays you can see the Strandkoerbe all over Germany, Europe and even in Japan.

Typically you will find two main design variations of the Strandkoerbe: the classic Baltic Sea beach chairs appear to be very soft and curved. In contrary straight lines and a square appearance characterize the North Sea shape.
