Stone Soup Technology Hires Former Scoop Magazine Publisher Melanie Feltman
Date:12/31/2009

Feltman to fill the web design firm's newly-created position of Director of Sales and Marketing.

Griffin, GA (PRWEB) December 31, 2009 -- Bradley Kirkland, President of Stone Soup Technology (SST), has hired Melanie Feltman as director of the company’s sales and marketing department. Feltman brings with her a wealth of experience in consultative sales and will work with all potential and current clients in their online strategy development.

As publisher of Scoop Magazine, a regional general interest magazine, she developed effective branding and marketing campaigns for a number of the magazine’s advertisers. She is a strong advocate of design and information architecture as the most powerful tool in a company’s marketing arsenal; she believes online and viral marketing is not only the most affordable strategy, but the most effective as well.

“It’s important for clients to understand that outsourcing the online strategy to professionals is vital to the credibility of their business,” says Feltman. “A truly professional online presence is the best investment a company can make and has an unmatched return on investment. It’s time for all types of businesses, not just technology companies, to stop thinking of a website as simply a means of advertising, but of streamlining business operations to save valuable time, which translates into bottom line dollars.”

Stone Soup Technology is based in Atlanta with a satellite office in New York. SST develops custom websites, software, and web applications for any type of business, but is becoming increasingly known for its work in the medical field, specifically for physicians in private practice. Prior to her four-year stint in the field of publishing, Feltman spent six years in medical sales and marketing.
