Agency Co-Founders Honored for Lifetime Achievement in Public Relations

WALTHAM, Mass., June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Schwartz Communications, Inc., one of the largest independent public relations agencies, today announced that its co-founders, Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz, were honored with the 2008 John J. Malloy Crystal Bell Lifetime Achievement Award last night at the Publicity Club of New England's Bell Ringer Awards.


Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz were honored for their creative approach to high-tech and healthcare public relations. Over the past 18 years, the husband-and-wife team of Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz has grown Schwartz Communications into the largest public relations agency in New England and one of the largest independent public relations agencies in the world. Under their leadership, the agency launched many of the most successful, enduring brands in technology and healthcare.

The judges also recognized them for consistently developing and retaining top talent, and their active involvement with the community and local and national charities.

In addition to this award, Schwartz Communications received 12 Bell Ringer Awards and 15 Bell Ringer Awards of Merit at the ceremony last night.
