Staying sharp in Phoenix: Leading brain experts discuss successful aging

WHAT:

Brain function and health will be the focus of the Staying Sharp session on June 3 at Grace Inn in Phoenix. Part of a highly recognized series, the program will emphasize successful aging, including how to deal with the booming aging industry; factors that predict future cognitive function; and the importance of clinical trials and how to participate in them. Following the event, panel member Marwan N. Sabbagh will sign copies of his book, "The Alzheimer's Answer: Reduce Your Risk and Keep Your Brain Healthy."

The program is sponsored by The Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives, in partnership with NRTA: AAR's Educator Community. Featured speakers will be:

  • Annette Norsman, PhD, session moderator and Director of Lifelong Learning, AARP
  • Gene Cohen, MD, PhD, Director, Center on Aging, Health & Humanities, George Washington University
  • Marwan N. Sabbagh, MD, FAAN, Director and Senior Scientist, The Cleo Roberts Center of Clinical Research, Sun Health Research Institute
