Statement from AAHSA CEO Larry Minnix on the Failure of the Thune Amendment
Date:12/4/2009

WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) applauds the Senate for ensuring that the Community Living and Supportive Services (CLASS) provisions remain in the final health reform legislation . The CLASS provisions are essential for providing support to elders, people with disabilities and their caregivers.

We urge the Senate to pass a health care reform bill that will make it affordable to care for families and caregivers.
