Date:10/10/2007

tissue sealing device on the market," said Dr. Paul G. Curcillo II, MD, F.A.C.S., associate professor and vice chair of the Department of Surgery and director of robotic and minimally invasive surgery, Drexel University College of Medicine. "Because the TLS3 has two active jaws, I can use it as a dissector and a grasper, as well as a cutter and sealer, which means I have fewer instrument exchanges through the abdominal wall during surgery. Additionally, the TLS3 has a comfortable handle design and a compact power supply making it easy for me to use and my operating room staff to set-up."

Starion will be showcasing the new TLS3 at the American College of Surgeons 93rd Annual Clinical Congress in New Orleans from October 7th - 11th at booth number 446.
