St Jude Retreats Releases New Infographic Which Reports Consequences of Drunk Driving
Date:4/16/2013

Amsterdam, NY (PRWEB) April 16, 2013

The St Jude Retreats is proud to release a new infographic based on the consequences of drunk driving handled by our society from the scene of the crime to punishment and court-ordered treatment for alcoholism. While St Jude Retreats does not endorse drunk driving, the problem with the system today is the vast amount of people court ordered to Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) who develop lifelong struggles with alcohol. With over 58,820 group meetings across the United States, it is no surprise that AA is the most popular form of treatment, which has been adopted by most alcohol rehabs today.

The infographic, "Society Created Alcoholic" is now live on the St Jude Retreat's website and includes relevant information on drunk driving statics, consequences and penalties, and an explanation of the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Senior Marketing Executive Director Daniel Hidalgo quotes, "The purpose of this infographic is to create awareness that drunk driving is a crime, and that the court-ordered alcohol programs that people are being sent to are causing them to not only believe they are alcoholics, but also in some cases statistically become much heavier drinkers then when the drunk driving incident first occurred. Through this visual we want people to know they can move on after these mistakes and do not have to admit to being powerless over alcohol or an alcoholic to change their lives for the better, there are always other options for help."

In special circumstances, the St Jude Retreat Program can be considered as a solution for someone who is court ordered into a program for help for an alcohol problem. Learn more about the Saint Jude Program and access the Saint Jude Retreats Reviews.

The Saint Jude Retreats is a non-disease, non-treatment based drug and alcohol program implementing proprietary methodology called Cognitive Behavioral Education (CBE). The program is the only effective alternative to alcohol rehab and drug treatment centers and is currently 85% more effective than treatment. The program is endorsed by internationally acclaimed professionals and addiction research authors such as Prof. Emeritus David Hanson, PhD; Prof. David Rudy, PhD; Dr. Joy Browne and the late Joseph Vacca, PhD, among others.
